So are embarrassing first game a$$whippings by former conference mates. Baylor was not only better prepared but they were motivated to want to win..

all whining aside, the only action of our AD this week is to get those guys fired...

(1) Maybe Maryland will have a second round of talks with JJ, after they fire Randy Edsall.

(2) Or the University of Hawaii will open the AD position, and hire JJ to go back home.

The funny thing is if we suck this year we won't get hired anywhere. That's why Arizona didn't take him.

IDNK any available coaches on the outside that we would want.

A. Maryland should fire Edsall. He's awful.
B. Arizona never considered hiring JJ. That was Arizona State ... and how SMU does "this year" could not have had anything to do with whether or not ASU hired him.
C. You're writing off Jason Phillips less than a year after he arrives, when he's still building relationships as a representative of SMU on the recruiting trail AND AFTER ONE GAME as WRs coach?

The witch hunt mentality has reached a new low. Get help.

Excuse me ASU and recruits do care if their future school is winning or showing any signs of improvement. Even a great bull s*&^er will find it difficult to spin losing. We have to follow TCU's model and find diamonds in the rough

that would be an interesting perspective if TCU really built their program from true diamonds in the rough. In fact, they were among the Top 1-2 non BCS recruiting teams during the period from the first year of the Franchione regime through Patterson's recent clases with numerous No. 1 ranked classes in Total Points and/or Average Points per recruit-and many others on Top 3. 65-70% of recruits had multiple BCS offfers. Guys like Dalton and Tomlinson are called Diamonds in the rough maybe because they weren't offered by UT or A&M but were Top 100 players by at least 1 major recruiting source. June Jones has never come close to about 10 TCU classes with the exception of the day before Klemm decided to leave.
