Observation: June wearing legit SMU red. First time I've seen that in a long time.
Bold Statement: SFA's D-line is better than Baylor's. Hmm

My question: where was the d-line at Baylor? I know Margus got hurt a bit early on, but we never seemed to get close to pressuring the QB. No push up front, and I am wondering what Mason/JJ intend to do to correct that. Baylor's QB was good, but we made him looking like effing Tom Brady.

As fast as Baylor's players were and as fast as the tempo was, I expect the front seven's assignment was more of a directive to contain, rather than attack. At the speed that offense operates at, there will be other teams on Baylor's schedule that don't get a sack, either. Overall, that might be the fastest team we see all year.

Ok, I'm going to stick my head out and say Baylor will have another bowl team and possibly contend for a big 12 championship this year. Baylor certainly looked better than Texas and Oklahoma in week 1.

We may look back on this game and decide it all made sense.

Baylor's pretty rugged.

I just can't believe they've turned that program around in Waco...

Come on, why break with tradition? We are having so much fun vilifying every player, coach, and ref call why should we grow a brain and understand this was week 1?

Who's in for lynch-mob!? Get the rakes, torches, and pitchforks and meet me at the AD's office.

Week 2 can't come fast enough....

No kidding. I hate Baylor and always will, but that was a very impressive team down there. I had no idea they would play like that after Griffin, etc., left.

The d-line was there, they just got handled by better players.
