Why should those north of 635 but who have been in Dallas for a jillion years and give a ton of money and time to SMU have to pay for something you give for free to the Park City group. It defies reason but is typical of the narrow mindset at SMU when it comes to marketing.

goes in line with marketing to those who already attend and have season tickets. Stupid.

I bet a substantial majority of people north of 635 have no clue that SMU is even in Dallas County. Those are the people we should be going after, not people who live within a few miles of the campus, drive by it on a regular basis and will never give a damn about SMU.

I am not in the park cities and I have seen quite a few signs outside of the park cities, not sure where you got that.

I have lived in far north dallas for over 40 years and have never seen anything concerning SMU anywhere north of 635 except maybe a few people wearing SMU t-shirts at the grocery store or gym and that is rare.

i don't think anyone will deny the marketing outreach should be much further than the 635 loop.
