Chris Reay... good grief! Talk about intensity and a much-needed shot-in-the-arm. The team stepped up when they coulda rolled over. Big win for the players, Coach Tubbs and the program.

What I noticed about Reay last night is that although he still had lots of energy and fire, he was much more controlled in his efforts...chalk one up for Tubbs!

Third-largest comeback in SMU history.

Glad I was there to see it!

8)
For us trivia buffs, what were the other two?
 Not sure. I think I just read the AP article before anyone else. Someone with a media guide could help out. XtC?
Hoop Fan was correct, the 2 biggest were the Kent State game at Kent in Dements first or second season, and the San Diego game at Moody 2 years ago. I believe the deficits were 22 and 18 points, respectively. I scanned through the media guide this morning, and didnt see it, but I'm sure those were the 2 games.

For the Lady Mustangs, their biggest comeback was the 4OT game at TCU in 1997, the game that set all the NCAA scoring records. SMU was down 23 in the second half, but rallied to win 127-125, in 4 overtimes. One of my personal favorites.

I, too, give props to Reay for his effort last night. As I said before...Chris is not the most talented player but will give you all he has got all the time...and that aint all bad.

Coach will have to recruit much more talented players to go deep in the tourney.
