June without Mouse

Has June been very successful anywhere with the true developer of the RnS Mouse Davis?

Pretty much all of June's pro coaching years were under or with Mouse.

June gets to Hawaii, and as I have shown in my other thread, had offensive numbers similar to what we have now except for the Colt Brennan years.

I wondered if Mouse had ever shown up in Hawaii - he did. He showed up right before the Brennan years.

Suddenly Mouse shows up and Hawaii produces 1500 yards/season more than the previous years.

Perhaps June can run, but not tweak or refine, the RnS. It would explain how a QB guru has had so many problems at QB here.

You're beating a dead gelding here.

JJ probably doesn't really care anymore because he doesn't have and is not likely to have any players to implement his vision.

Time to start searching for a young hungry head coach with vision to recruit and move the Ponies forward.

Next week will be the true bellwether where we are and where we are going.

Fired in Atlanta and San Diego. The RnS was figured out by d-coordinators in the NFL and by most colleges now. Jones needs to forget the scheme and spend all year and 100% of his time on recruiting. That's the only cure.

He was not fired by San Diego, he was interim head coach and was subsequently offered the full-time position which he turned down to coach Hawaii.
