Norm this morning on the ticket that it was the worst/weirdest 52-0 win there could ever be.

The Lumberjacks would beat Grambling (and their band) by 30. Not saying we should be proud of our offensive sturggles, but its not like we played Grambling.

Reedfrawg- I know you guys have a very very good team but my God the Obama/Horn Toad Media made it out like you beat Alabama. The pressure is on now that you play a team beaten by Rice last week. The stadium looks nice BTW.

No TCU fan is excited that we beat Grambling. Just that there were a lot of positives. Completing 17 straight passes is impressive even against air. I agree we have not proven anything...was just listing some things that we did well. We'll have to see if we can keep it up as we take on tougher competition...probably the week after the smu game! just joking around...

Our defense, while being very opportunistic, struggled to get set with SFA's hurry-up offense.

Doesn't every team in the country know by now that the sure path to success against SMU is the hurry-up offense? And being so, why in God's great name are we not practicing for it!?!

The difference is that TCU could have won 100-0 if they wanted. We only won 52-0 because of the 10 turnovers.

1) Grambling ain't SFA. SFA's a highly regarded team at that level.

2) We only won because of turnovers? Let that sink in a second. Turnovers are good and help you win ballgames. That's like saying, if not for all the touchdowns and field goals, the score wouldn't have been high.

I think it's they were gift wrapped with 2 pieces of chocolate turnovers not actual pressured turnovers. For instance, the punter kicked the ball into the RB [deleted] and we got the ball at like their 30....
