I'll admit A&M football can get a little [deleted] but the general school, traditions etc are far superior. Unfortunately for me my future in-laws extended family are UTers and they are nuts and said only reason they sucked was because of GG and other crap. I realize they can't be statistically the pop. But still I assume they're all ridiculous. Also theyre like how's SMU doing in their FCS conference I'm just like I'm out. Anyways I'm done with UT/Austin rant but to finish it off how freaking greedy is it to give a very limited student section (possibly the smallest in the big 12) and act like you care about students...

Can't tell if you're serious...A&M a better school? what are you smoking?

UT is better academically, traditionally, and fanbase is simply better. You may have some condescending inlaws but ag alumni are the worst of the two in terms of talking down anyone other than them.

My experience with actual UT alumni has been positive, t shirt fans not so much.

70% Aggie, 30% SMU, doesn't even seem like it's going to be a sellout. End Zone seats might have been premature.

My game day experiences at A&M have been very positive despite the fact that I think that many of their traditions are juvenile and that they are a bit too obsessive about the school. UT on the other hand-nothing but condescending jerks with a few exceptions. As with any school, the higher you go up the food chain among the alums the better sports they tend to be. The t shirt brigade in Austin is a pretty reprehensible lot. Mostly community college dropouts.

Yes we need good fans who can deal with ups and downs of the season. I personally enjoy the experience and will be there to see them through.

If you are one of these people, great. If you're not - you aren't really a true fan and shouldnt be on this site. If you know people who don't go to the game for whatever reason - make them feel like scum. If that doesnt work, move on.

Im tired of hearing about attendance 'woes'. It is what it is. I will be there to see the attendance on Sat. See you there.

Hoping for 40,000.

As we get closer to the game, those tix will sell. I have about 12 Aggy friends going to Dallas for the game and are waiting to buy tickets because the price is simply too high right now...and I agree with them. They will probably drop later this week and be snagged immediately

I have a much bigger problem with the UT crowd. So arrogant and condescending and yet they wonder why I don't like UT (yes this includes family). The aggies are goofy and have weird traditions, etc but the ags I know have been sufficiently humbled and are much more quick to give props to tcu. UT fans are just too damn cocky.
