Not to mention that their parents hustled them all out of the stadium right after their performance. You give those kids and their parents front-row seats to support the team, then they take off right after performing? Weak.
Plenty of other activities for kids to be involved in...heck, you can keep the mini-mustangs and let them perform at soccer games or something if you want. They just have no place at the football stadium when their parents don't even give a crap about the team.
Not exactly related to game presentation, but my wife was just telling me that SMU is making quite a presence for itself on 99.5 the Wolf. Ads going on throughout the day, and they gave away a 4-pack of tix to the TCU game. That's the kind of stuff we need to keep doing to get folks attention. Oh, and beating the [Fatterson] out of aTm and the Horny Toads wouldn't hurt either.
