Temporary bleachers in the south end zone will hold about 3,000, and another 5,000 fans can be accommodated in standing areas. Although tickets may still be available up to the 2:30 p.m. kickoff, SMU officials are expecting about 40,000.
I just don't see how this (even though technically correct) is making excuses. Just stating facts.

one day just maybe when we have a big crowd it will seem like a home crowd for us and not the visiting team. One can only hope.

you guys are mad at the wrong person on this one.He is not lying more Alum and ppl From Dallas need to start showing up for games. So what if he said it he is there every day why cant more show up for saturday?*yes I know it is ironic with me never even been to ford stadium myself*
