Some of those pass calls are frustrating yes, but oh lord why does Gilbert rocket the hell out of a 6 yard pass? I play soccer, and I just could not imagine passing the ball to a teammate within 10 yards at such an excruciatingly high speed.

I think it's psychological. he threw so many INTs at UT that he figures "if I throw the ball hard, it's less likely to be intercepted"
