stupid for paying 2+ mil for a 'has been'
Re: "SMU is"
In need of "fans" whose top priority is supporting the team.
Not that anyone should emulate the Aggies in any way, but when A&M loses, thousands of their fans stick around to practice yelling, because they feel they (the fans) had something to do with the loss. I've seen it. It's a freaky scene, but there's something to be said about the way Aggie fans absolutely never waver in their support for their team.
I just gave Aggie fans a compliment. I feel like I need some sort of vaccination.

Re: "SMU is"
having a hard time accepting reality. It is NOT the fan base (which there will not be ANY after this cluster)---the coach in year 5 sucks!
It makes sense to me.

Are you serious... No you can't be surely no rational person can blame fans... Reason Aggies stick around because they always had a mid to top BCS team. We barely are above FCS level

you are young so can't be blamed for not understanding. let's flashback to the pre-death penalty era when SMU was handing A$M a 44-0 (or something like that arse kicking). Jackie Sherrill was the Aggie coach...maybe you heard of him? Anyways, I remember that Aggie faithful being there until the BITTER END for them...our same great SMU fans left early for blowout wins in those days. I remember how impressed I was that the Aggie fans were making all the noise in Texas Stadium as that game came to an end. You would have thought the score was reversed.
