Not that anyone should emulate the Aggies in any way, but when A&M loses, thousands of their fans stick around to practice yelling, because they feel they (the fans) had something to do with the loss. I've seen it. It's a freaky scene, but there's something to be said about the way Aggie fans absolutely never waver in their support for their team.
I just gave Aggie fans a compliment. I feel like I need some sort of vaccination.
Are you serious... No you can't be surely no rational person can blame fans... Reason Aggies stick around because they always had a mid to top BCS team. We barely are above FCS level
you are young so can't be blamed for not understanding. let's flashback to the pre-death penalty era when SMU was handing A$M a 44-0 (or something like that arse kicking). Jackie Sherrill was the Aggie coach...maybe you heard of him? Anyways, I remember that Aggie faithful being there until the BITTER END for them...our same great SMU fans left early for blowout wins in those days. I remember how impressed I was that the Aggie fans were making all the noise in Texas Stadium as that game came to an end. You would have thought the score was reversed.
I understand I'm not as old as some but it's also a certain culture. I mean when Slake Carroll beat the living hell out of teams I left just because blow outs aren't fun to watch. There is no doubt probably has one of the best fan bases and I envy them, but we just have an ordinary typical one. Till we start beating teams like that then we can try to push cultural changes, you know? If we are to compare ourselves to certain schools lets pick teams like Baylor where I saw their fans leaving when it was only mid through 3rd qtr beating our asses

Really more of a "never was"........
Everybody's got that guy who seems especially capable at finding the dark clouds even when things are going well, and who seems to really come alive when his team fails. You, my friend, are that guy.
My take on all this is I am deeply disappointed in my team right now. I didn't expect more than 1-2. It's how we're 1-2 that's the problem. Let's see how the team responds to the extra week to prepare for TCU. Let's hope lights turn on for GG. He looks dreadfully lost.
Thiis is why some of us were not waving our pom poms and wearing Go Go boots after the SFA game. A win is not just a win-when SFA has more offense than you-you got MAJOR problems. The aggies did not cooperate with 10 turnovers like SFA. We are struggling to get a first down in the Run and Dump Offense.
