devastating offseason for rice hoops

Postby MustangIcon » Tue Sep 18, 2012 12:27 am

6 rice players have left the rice program this offseason including kazemi. one of their assistants, who was close to alot of these guys, did not have his contract renewed and it seems like that is a big part of it.

Kazemi is probably going to get his degree at Rice and have immed eligibility.
Can't help but wonder if current world events has any influence.

It's because Marco Morcos left the program: http://blog.chron.com/owls/2012/05/rice ... s-program/

Morcos was banned from high school ball in New Jersey http://www.state.nj.us/education/legal/ ... 120-07.pdf

On the CUSA board a UAB fan said he was a "cancer" during his one year at their program, as well.

Bottom line - don't hire Marco Morcos
