Is it bad I am considering going to the UNT game on Sat?
Just to get a college football fix and to see what their new stadium is all about?

Just curious as to who they play?

You must be getting free tickets because there's no way in Hell anyone can get a football fix from watching some Sun Belt pillow fight.

Troy, so not much to offer there IMO. I don't know anything about them. Anytime I drive by the stadium (I do volunteer work in Denton and Lewisville, and I was a part time adjunct professor there a few years ago) I tell myself I should go check out a game if there is not much else going on. With a 6:00pm kick, this weekend actually meets that criteria.

I used to think that, but after driving to Waco to watch that debacle, watching our offense struggle against SFA, and then being competitive for just over 25 minutes last week against Aggie, I'm not so positive what the outcome of an SMU-UNT game would be if we played this year. I'd like to think we'd win going away, but I bet it would actually be a close game.
And yes, free tickets.

Troy has a pretty decent team. They have won some the conference titles. Could be an exciting game to see.

Well it’s worse for me. I am going to the Rutgers Beloved Razorback game in Fayetteville Sat. Not because to the Mustangs' performance but because of parent's weekend. I can’t even describe how low I fell.

The TCU game is a sellout. This is a term that may not be familiar to SMU fans, but it means that there are no more tickets available because they have all been sold.

Because a sellout obviously means that no one can possibly get tickets for the game if they want to.

There are several MAC, WAC, and Sun Belt teams that could beat us. Says more about our coaching, recruiting and talent level than anything.

Speak for yourself. I am definitely on the ULM bandwagon. Can't want to watch them beat Baylor this weekend.
