Why do we have to go there?awesome stadium, great fans. Leave it alone.
Not that anyone cares but it was probably the hottest game I have sat through in the last 10 years. I couldn't even blame folks for leaving.
Could not have been as hot as Waco a couple of weeks ao
Despite TCU making some really dumb mistakes, the only thing I can say is at least they won't blow us out like AM and Baylor did. It's going to be like 28-3 or 35-6
The good news, they have about 15 freshman on depth chart and are very sloppy. We should be able to exploit some of that youth. The bad news...they can make big plays on both sides of the ball and special teams. I can't wait.

Whatever - I really don't care about their tickets and to be fair our inflated numbers this year are because of Aggies too.
The bottom line is they are way overbuilt for what they are. Today was embarrassing. Their first "real" game and the place was maybe 3/4 full?
A ton of people left at the half too even though the game wasn't even close to decided.
I was at my kids soccer game and it was miserable hot....no way I would have stayed for a football game. Ford would have been empty by halftime. And they did not add any seating capacity in the new stadium. Let's focus on getting our team bringing in fans, not on a deluded view of a cross town rival.
Of course, you can relax admission standards for athletes and offer more athlete-friendly courses if you feel that's the way to go -- but that's not how TCU did it.
SMU can get in anyone that TCU can since 2008-its a desperate search for an excuse for June Jones incompetent recruiting. The evidence is overwheling based on anyone competent to understand the issues. I've never been disputed or contradicted by a single person when pointing out that not a single recruit denied admission to SMU under June Jones has started a single game in Division 1A.
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

I reserve the right to disagree with Stallion in the future...but he's right here. We have relaxed admissions and created degree programs to make us comparable with the TCU's of the world. Our problems are elsewhere.
The game was brutal hot. Most people went to the concourses for the shade. The concourses are huge to handle Standing Room Only tickets which we sold approx 2,000 for Va. They were absolutely packed after midway through the 2nd. Those that couldn't see the field were watching on the numerous flat screens down there. Plus the air conditioned club was packed.
TCU fans aren't going to bake in the sun (no breeze) to watch a boring game. Just who we are. I will comment the Va fans who stayed in their seats to the bitter end.
