We are where TCU was attendance wise before they got LT and had a string of 10 game seasons. That is when they pushed above 30K consistently. We are going to have to have that level of success before the city of Dallas recognizes us as their team and fills things in.

This is the most effective way to marginally expand, improve sideline seating, make Ford more intimate and project a more big time image, including on TV. The south end should remain open with the ability to temporarily add "seats". Beside our horseshoe configuration compliments "Horse Power." So, 38,600 is the right size and the above approach makes more sense.

All well and good but I think we had to make some promises to get the Big East invite.

I think we draw more "SMU" Dallas fans with BE teams, such as Boise State, Navy, Louisville and, hopefully, BYU. If BE goes to 16, then Air Force and Army would help fill it. Perhaps our permanent foe, Houston, has the same impact?
