SMU basketball is on MAJOR upswing

In last night's victory at Boise St., SMU's offense got a ton of different options in theri motion offense. Really worked....time after time. Backcuts, isolations and open shots. Roberts had six assists and some were absolutely fabulous. Hopkins was magnificent with 28 points and very few turnovers. Superior game by Pearson. Good to have Simpson and Roberts back.

But the defense played by the Mustangs set the tempo and dictated the game.

Great job coach Tubbs and team! The UTEP gaem will be a hard challenge but you never know.....

Let's look to our future and not backwards. Tubbs will get it done and done right.

Let's build a new facility and see how high SMU gets in the national rankings...
