The defense could literally give up a touchdown on penalities for all I care. They are all by themselves and continue to fight as long as they can go, I never get upset with them (this year) simply because most of them are seniors and their year just got ruin because of the lack of preparedness from JJ and the O. Just MHO.

I am a huge Reed fan. I played the same position. But he is hurting the team first when he gets a penalty and second when they take him off the field. All he needs to do is use his emotion wisely rather than showing stupid.

Agreed. (I played the same position as well). If he gets 1-2 per game it's a problem. 2-3 the whole season is definitely acceptable if the performance is there. It's a violent, emotional sport. Your linebackers (and safeties) have to be absolute stone cold head hunters (in a good way).

Yeah, but his penalties, like last night are at times, for things like kicking a player on the ground, not ones of over aggression. Just play hard.
