It was a below average tailgate at 33. Not sure if you came by. We hit the corral then came back.

Feel free to drop by on a sunny day.

All I know, I had the head-to-toe poncho and ended up wet head-to-toe and wondering if the new phone is going to work again. Just the cost of doing business.

I came by 33, and NO ONE WAS THERE. what gives

1983 Cotton Bowl wrote:I'll be shocked if TCU wins the Big-12 this year, or even comes close. If they do, that will say a lot more about the strength of the Big-12 than about TCU. Totally agree that in most years Patterson has the Frogs playing sound fundamental football with excellent special teams, but that is not the product he has this year. The Frogs offense is weak, one-dimensional (they can't run), and very, very error-prone. Their offense did absolutely nothing in the second half. I was also surprised by how poor their O-line was. The Ponies were in Pachall's face all night. By the end of the game he looked like he had taken a real beating. And as horribly as our offense played, if we hadn't f'd up our 1st and goal on the 1 opportunity that game would have gone to overtime.

Now. . .honesty time here. . .are the Frogs better than SMU? Yes, absolutely. Even with all their problems, they had enough to come in to our house and win. But I fully expect the Big-12 teams to expose the Frogs this year. I don't say that because they don't belong in the Big-12. I think they do. But the combination of injuries, expulsions, and playing a ton of freshman makes this the worst TCU team in several years by a wide margin. Next year I expect them to be MUCH better. But I don't see a title for them this year. The goal has to be bowl-eligibility.

That #15 ranking is based purely on reputation at this point.

Very accurate. I think very few TCU fans think they should be anywhere in the Top20, probably 21-25 because they haven't lost and that will change soon. If you have visited their board, you would have thought they were 0-4 because everyone knows what is ahead and how bad they have looked so far. 7 or 8 wins would be a great accomplishment. Every team is allowed a down year every 6-8 years in my book. Handful of teams in the nation don't fit that mold (Bama, LSU and a few others) Doubt TCU would even win their league if they were still in the MWC.

They are a year or two away.. they start 3 SRs and out of their front 9 (5OL and 4DL), i think 2 are SRs, 2 are JRs and the rest are younger (incl 2 true freshman) Transfers from Florida, LSU, Nebraska and a few others are eligible next year. With
