Time 4 a change in Big D and on the Hilltop

Post by ponyfan777 »

Romo and Gilbert have one thing in common. They both are very good at throwing picks, lots of them! The Cowboys are headed for yet another 8-8 season and IF the Ponies don't make a change very soon, we are headed for a losing record. There not only needs to be a change in Big "D" but also needs to have a QB change now, on the Hilltop.

Your thoughts.

Agree, the Cowboys need to give Kyle Orton a chance at QB. His passes looked crisp yesterday.

Give Da Bears' Defense some credit and SMU will be lead by JJ for good reasons this season.

The first batch of interceptions were from miscues with the wide receivers (and a tipped ball by Ogletree). The last two were really out of frustration and trying to force something to happen against a good defense. Somehow I would have expected to be more incensed about Romo having 5 ints, but I'm actually not. Well, I should say, I'm not upset at Romo, but rather the offense as a whole (Dez).

I hate the Dallas Cowboys. I do not like Tony Romo. I despise Jerry Jones.

Only one or two of the picks thrown by Romo were on him, the rest were on his line or receivers who are unable to run the called route (Dez), or running a sloppy route (Austin). Everything related to a pass interception is not always the QB's fault.

So TCU is the tallest midget?

Lets see how you are feeling after your offense (which got a whopping 150 yds against us), goes vs UT, OSU, KSU, WV, OU, Baylor and TTU. Kansas and Iowa st might be your only big 12 wins.

TCU is going to be like the guy who inherits a bunch of money while he is in prison. He is rich, but wont be able to enjoy it.

Gilbert and romo both have another thing in common: the worst WRs in its time... Well Dallas maybe not but SMU or even eastern Washington would be embarrass to have our "experience WRs" they are a joke and sadly the stats only people here blame GG but game viewers know its the soccer player WRs

Lay off the soccer player stuff. Most of us soccer players can catch a ball.

Alum11 is right. I still have faith in GG, but not so sure about the wide receivers. They have been most disappointing unit of the offense so far.

I thin GG has talent, but I have re-watched the TCU game and fellas, GG was throwing to guys he should not have been throwing to. NO WAY he could have completed those passes that were intercepted. It shows some big problems with his thinking, in my uneducated football mind.
