SMU/Tulane Predictions

I'll go out on a limb and predict an SMU victory. I am still eating a crap sandwich from last weeks 'UTEP is going to beat us' prediction. Strange no one can seem to find the point spread on the game. I have looked around too and nothing. I really will be disappointed if our offense does not play better. It is time to see some solid improvement from the offense.

With our D, I think we might have a chance to win this game if we just didn't play offense. In other words just punt on 1st down, kick field goals on 1st down after a punt return, a pick, or fumble. Then just relay on pick sixes by the D and blocked kick scores. Sounds like a improved offensive game plan to me. What do you think ?

I predict 41-0. D gets another shutout. Unlike the UTEP game, the call on the field is a TD and GG hits DJ for an 80 yard home run. We have two really solid balanced drives on O making it 28-0. D scores a pick six making it 35-0. And we add a couple short field goals. Not necessarily in that order.

14-3 smu +/- 7 depending on offense. Tulane won't be able to smack through our defense only worry is if they get a pick from a WR dropping the ball typically
