Well there's already a movie in the works about Paterno (based on the new book), with Al Pacino to play the coach. Hope it doesn't happen.

I just want to be clear, here... this post says "may have"... there is (almost certainly) no "may have" about it. The folks that have come to me about doing a doc on the Sandusky thing have made it clear to me that that is how he got away with it for so long.
Again, I can't be involved with this... and I hated how many times I had to go on the radio talking about the SMU DP with this as the overview.
I refused more often than I accepted. (I always requested/demanded that "if I come on your show, please let me talk up the Mustangs after we differentiate these heinous incidents and this awful cover-up." If they were even on the fence, I said "no, I'm not talking about it... because what happened at SMU is nothing like the PSU case and I don't even like SMU being mentioned in the same sentence or report about it.")
