Rusty Burns would eat June Jones' lunch. Remember, Justin Willis wasn't even good enough to TRY and win the QB job here. Nuh uh.

i like the idea of acker returning punts.
Re: SMU - Tulane GAME THREAD
Tulane is starting to stink it up now with penalties. SMU can still pull this one out and hopefully will.

I wasn't saying whose fault it is or isn't. Just saying it is a core problem.
I agree, we missed on a bunch of OL the last 2-4 years (again, the young ones are good I think). I don't know if the poor evaluation of offensive linemen is a JJ thing or a McKnight thing. My understanding is that the position coaches have the final call on who they want to offer, although JJ and Mason can override anything. But maybe that isn't an accurate understanding.

That move put the program back a couple of years at least. Inability to develop QBs over time, "learn" this really complicated offense that our QBs/WRs can't learn but opposing defenses can, etc.

I'm going to keep watching. Call me what you want.
I have KSU-ISU on my TV set at the moment. It's more entertaining.
