When We Start Conference Play....

All will be fine...was that not the mantra of the sunshiners?

After this loss, can we just accept that we are a bottom rung team in the worst conference in the FBS?

No magic bullet, no quick fix....this program is broken....has been...but too many sunshiner's thought a 7-5 record with wins against really cruddy teams and a birth in the Weedeater Bowl was real progress..

Sometimes we beat sub par teams....get our butts handed to us by bigger programs...and when things are equal...we just fold at the end.

Those baby bowl games were nothing really special....challenging conference USA championships is not really special.....

This is a broken program and June Jones came in and went 1-11 and then had the good fortune to play in a cruddy conference and skate by.

We had some good wins sure...but does anyone remember Phil Bennett beating a ranked TCU team? Tom Rossely tying A@M one year and nearly beating the next year a ranked Aggie Team. Lucky wins did not start with June....he has been pretty much par for the course, he just got to compete against cruddier competion with less than stellar results....Phil Bennet and Mike Cavan had seasons where they were close to June's best record...and they did it against better competition.

June has always been a fraud, and too many Pony fans were happy with the Weedeater Bowl.
