I'm a lowly alumnus of S-M-U. That said, why do you punish me so? I'm not a Methodist, I don't drive a Range or live in HP/UP.....but I do give a modest amount to the Mustang Club and I buy season tickets every year. Sadly, all I want is to be like Baylor, or even worse, TCU - relevant in a major conference. We are a better school than both, we are in a better city than both and I feel we deserve a better fate athletically than both.....

I am so grateful of the job that JJ has done - winning records and bowl games but as all Ponyfans know, when it comes to SMU football, expectations lead to disappointment. As the great philosopher jtstang once said "have no expectations and you wont be disappointed," well I always do, and I always am. A football idiot like myself knows that going for it on 4th and goal at the 2 with a 3 pt lead late in the 4th against the worst team in division 1A is a no-brainer. JJ has mailed it in, he did so last August/Sept. So please let us move on, and move forward.

btw, if you do have any influence on bball, thank you for LB and bring on the season....
