Driving home from work this morning I heard one of those betting infomercials on the radio. They want you to call in for theirs picks. One of them said "Call now and get my upset pick. A team that is favored by 17 and I am predicting an outright win." I wonder if t was out game.

unfortunately, it doesn't matter what any of us think
can only hope JJ can admit to himself that he isn't willing to work hard enough to take SMU to the next level and that he decides to retire

CP, interesting point. If he is honest with himself, he would have to admit that his heart (apparently) is not in this game/season/school.Charleston Pony wrote:unfortunately, it doesn't matter what any of us think

I have bet on SMU games maybe 5 times in my life, but have won every single time.mrydel wrote:Driving home from work this morning I heard one of those betting infomercials on the radio. Back in the mid-80's, SMU played at TCU and was favored by 2 TDs?, way too much given the recent history between the 2 schools. I took TCU and the points. SMU won, but by a small margin. For years, I thought it was the easiest bet I had ever made, but nothing compares to this years' A&M game. That was a once-in-a-life-time bet.
