Call me...

Post by SMU_Alumni11 »

Crazy or call me nuts or overly optimistic but after thinking about it. The one thing that's in the way of firing JJ is admittedly money. Well one crucial thing about the big east is this silent contract. We haven't heard anything... Just speculators. As one report said, count on fox sports and Espn merge to do the who tv thing with us. I imagine they will do tiers and probably besides Boise all new teams will be tier 2 and the other will get top tier which means more money for them and more than what we had before.plus I'm sure COC will want to chip in to help with the enticing of a big or upcoming college coach

I say let's wait and see if NBC can outbid them. We only have 2 more weeks until open bidding starts.

OK, You are "crazy" or "nuts"...don't know why you want to be called that, but I do think that your scenario has a ring of truth to it.

Money IS going to be the key issue here, whether Jones stays or goes.

Because I didn't put a lot of thought into my post haha but for the sake of the team and dollars that haven't been wasted, firing JJ would be a great start and hiring NTCC head coach and put him on performance contract at 2.2 mil a year (if he does well) will help protect our #2 Dallas team and hopefully start getting back to winning ways but not being 2-4 it just makes me sick
