Man, I like this guy. Love his attitude. Liked his play Saturday. I hope he rotates in more so we can stay fresh longer. We should rotate 6-7 WRs quite a bit (DJ and DJ2, JJ, Dieter, Holman, Holleman, Thompson, Fuller - I'm assuming Stewart is just going to be a redshirt now). Next year we have them all back expect DJ obviously and Fuller but we'll have Stewart and Sims (and possibly Gaines and Taylor) - so with a lot of these guys getting more experience (and it's been painful to watch I know) I think it really helps us next year where we will be VERY deep at WR and could rotate 8 guys.

I'm with you. This guy has decent size and speed, and if that touchdown showed us anything, he seems to have an element of toughness that we need at WR. You have to be correct that Stewart is redshirting at this point, and Lagasse obviously is, too -- I don't know what it was about him but I thought he had a chance to play right away before he got hurt.
Going in to spring ball, I assume no starters are guaranteed, but there should be a decent group if you choose from among Darius Joseph, Jeremy Johnson, Keenan Holman, Thompson, Steve Nelson, Dieter, Holleman, Stewart, Lagasse, Sims, Guinyard, Waid, etc. There's a ton of WRs on the roster, and aren't DJ and Fuller the only ones graduating?

Oh, man. I forgot all about Lagasse and Guinyard. Thanks HorsePower. I'd be rotating all these guys in right now and giving them experience (maybe not Lagasse and Stewart so to not burn their redshirts). Should be extremely deep and could be very effective with the right system (a hurry up, west coast style). So much for all the nattering nabobs of negativism talking about our lack of WR recruiting. We are deep here, just very young.

He can catch, that's a rare quality in this WR corps.

Nice interview with a well spoken young man. He and his HS teammate Ronnel Sims are two peas in a pod when it comes to this. When Ronnel gets his chance, I think we will like what we see as well. Surprised Ronnel has not been given a chance at punt return … although may be he has in practice.
Darius showed some flashes Sat to get excited about. That TD catch was big time. The ball had a lot of zip on a short slant route in the end zone, and Darius new he was going to get hammered on the play. He held his concentration and he held onto the ball. Great job by a great kid. The Mustangs are blessed with many young men with humility and character … that can also play a little ball.

I think my favorite bit was when he talked about high school "where I knew I was the man!"
We need more of that!

I became a fan of this guy last week on that touchdown catch, and this interview does nothing to change that. Keep working hard, Darius. I expect great performances in your future.

I thought Joseph had some other nice catches besides the TD. I like the way he goes after the ball and think he should develop into a solid go to WR.
