Did Anyone Notice
The two receivers lining up near the line/backfield formation for blocking on that last drive? Why did it take June so long to implement this. I was very impressed with the results. We could've used it against Tulane.

Noticed and at first couldn't believe what I was seeing. Now all we need to do is put a fullback or tight end in that position.

It's the position Bradley Haynes played last year. Not sure why someone like Austin Fuller hasn't moved in to that roll this year.

that was Fuller's role for the early part of this season. They have brought in the one reciever often, but the two reciever inside look is new.

Was watching an old Falcons-Cowboys game from 95 and saw June use 2 WRs in wing position quite frequently (though the QB was lined up under center).

I saw that, too. Love that formation. Also love the quick out to DJ in space with Dieter and Holleman out blocking (haven't seen that yet). Should guarantee at least 5-10 yards any time if those guys make the blocks (and imagine Gaines in that role all 6'3" 230plus of him!).
