Post Death Penalty Checklist

Here is my list of things that SMU Football needs to accomplish to truly be over the Death Penalty.

1 Winning Season ________X
2. Bowl Game ___________X
3. Join BCS Conference ___X
4. Beat a Ranked Team____X
5. Be Ranked
6. Go undefeated
7. Have ESPN scroll SMU scores
8. Play ut again
9. Find SMU paraphernalia for sale outside the Park Cites.

What am I missing?

7 and 9 have both been accomplished many times. ESPN scrolls every score every weekend and there is SMU stuff for sale at many places in Dallas outside the park cities. Not sure either of those has anything to do with getting over the death penalty though.

Gameday was at an SMU game last year.

We were ranked for a week after a 5-0 (6-0) start last year, or the year before. #21 I beleive.

Not sure if you were talking end of season or not...

What. No we weren't. Last season we were 5-1 before getting shelled in Hattiesburg.
