I can not wait to get out of this horrid conference, so we never have the possibility of going to the Hawai'i Bowl again.ojaipony wrote:We play in championship game against UCF and go win big in the Hawaii Bowl.

The Big East does have vastly superior bowl destinations. Granted that all may change here in the next few years.
Back off Warchild seriously.

What's that bowl destination that is superior to Honolulu, Hawai'i at the end of December? Of all I've attended, Hawai'i wins hands-down. Hopefully, we can schedule a home-and-home with the Warriors when we're out of the Hawai'i Bowl picture.Mustangs35SMU wrote:I can not wait to get out of this horrid conference, so we never have the possibility of going to the Hawai'i Bowl again.ojaipony wrote:We play in championship game against UCF and go win big in the Hawaii Bowl.

Congrats on being able to attend it. But I doubt I'll ever get the opportunity to have the chance to head that way. Am sure it's nice for the players blah blah blah, but I'm selfish in that I would actually like the chance to attend the bowl game that my team is in.Bergermeister wrote:What's that bowl destination that is superior to Honolulu, Hawai'i at the end of December? Exactly. Other than a BCS bowl, what's better?Bergermeister wrote: What's that bowl destination that is superior to Honolulu, Hawai'i at the end of December?
The BEST ever would be Rose Bowl! I think my heart wouldn't be able to take it and I would spontaneously combust from excitement (I get teary eyed just thinking about going to the Rose Bowl parade decked out head and toe in Pony gear).

Remember though, assuming we're eligible, CUSA assigns who goes where, and I would think are unlikely to do any team that is leaving any favors. But who knows, maybe they aren't vindictive.

What did he say in 2010 and 2011 when we were bowl eligible and ended up bowling somewhere else than Hawaii? June isn't the final say on what bowl we go to.

I'm hoping that we don't go to Hawaii bowl game. I hope we never ever go there. If I'm going to Hawaii it's to enjoy Hawaii nothing else. I'm fine with BBVA again, I wish liberty if we made it and cusa doesn't hold a grudge or the what was ticket city bowl. Heck I would be fine with armed forces so I can trash froggie high stadiumsbsmith wrote:AusTxPony wrote:And we will go to the Hawaii Bowl, so JJ has said. Hawaii was a blast to watch on TV, but is pretty impractical for most fans to go to hawaii over the christmas holiday. I want to go to the best bowl available against the "biggest name" opponent we can play. I am indifferent as to where that is, although I'd love to be able to go to another bowl game.
