How low can it go?

Remember last year's class?

troll- hardly. I most likely graduated from SMU before your moma bought you from the sperm bank. I have seen the glory days of the Doaker, Rote, ED, and the Pony express I don't need coaches who just want to siphon money from my school..
I just want wins and top rankings. No bs, no excuses. understand????????? BTW- what relative of jj's are you ? his kid?? maybe.???

alum 11 - agree- we just have different opinions on how things should be. Since my yrs left are small I have a greater sense of urgency to see success than some much younger who can wait decades for some level of success.

Yeah I can understand that. Why people think loading the OOC with cupcakes and having to go undefeated just in hopes of a top spot. We need to win big for the fans to remember and recruit like the top 10 heck even 20 schools. Not be happy with 50 and beyond

I was talking about pony snob.

Seriously, you saw Doak? Would love to have been there. SMU's true glory days ended the day the Doaker left campus.

Saw Doak play one game at SMU, and several with the Lions. More importantly to me was the fact that in 1950 he arranged to meet me at the visitors locker rooms when they played Ohio St.. He took me into the locker rooms and introduced me to Rote, Benners, Hightower et al and saw to it that I got all of the autographs that I wanted. That was an experience that I will always cherish and will never forget.

But I thought we were only about 1 1/2 decades away from being competitive.
