Ain't that the truth. I guess I grew up in a different era, one where you were supposed to be nice to chicks.

I had a friend who's motto was treat women like dung and they loved you to death. Seemed to work for him.

Eaststang, your friend must have been attracted to women with low self esteem; they're the only ones who'll put up with someone who treats them like cr@p. And the guy who treats women like that has low self esteem himself and just wants to make someone feel worse then he does.

DGirl you're pretty much right. I didn't say he had lasting relationships with these women now did I. He never was violent. He just didn't engage in the pleasantries normally associated with dating. He was also about 5' 2" so yeah, he had a self-esteem problem.

UNIVERSITY PARK – SMU athletic director Jim Copeland issued a memo to all coaches about having their players stay away from Jack's Pub and Volleyball Club on Yale Boulevard, and other establishments on that street because of an incident March 15 that led to the deaths of three people.

"Things are unsettled over there from my standpoint," he said. "We don't need kids in places where there can be problems."

Copeland said this was the first memo he had ever sent about having players avoid certain areas.

Wasn't there a similar memo/notice sent out about 10-12 years ago? Can't remember the place in question.
