I could see us beating Tulsa and USM at home, but I think Rice will lay a beat down on us in Houston. The front 7 tonight showed they are not really special, especially on the road. I think we will still get to 6 wins, only because USM, Rice, and even Tulsa are nothing special...Conference USA is terrible, we are terrible, its just a battle of a bunch of turds....Every turd has its day, and even a turd can get lucky sometime, especially against another turd.
Agree! We beat USM at home likely lose to Rice because it is in Houston and eek out a win against Tulsa at home. That Tulane loss really stings! Have to win them all to have any shot at salvaging the season.

We are mediocre, thus we should put a beatdown on bad teams and get a beatdown from good teams.
If we are being truthful, UCF is a mediocre team. We are a below average team with a well below average offense. How that is possible with one of the best RBs in the nation is a mystery but it's reality.
Don't sell UCF short, if we can get by Tulsa we should carry a top 25 ranking. This team is really playing well right now. L Murray is an NFL bound RB and Bortles is getting better very week.

I do think UCF is a good team. Lots of good players. Hope they do break into the top 25.

The assumption that firing June means going back to winless seasons is faulty for so many reasons that I really do not care to individually list out in a post here. Someone else can elaborate.
Sometimes you get the bear. Sometimes the bear gets you.
Firing the coach, and going back to an Ofer, and 1-11 seasons till the new coach can develop his new system doesn't sound reall appealing right now
Unfortunately, we always get the bear when playing a good team or any team on the road, Tulane.
A new system does sound very appealing to me. An updated offense, coaches that will recruit so we have some depth, a coach with some guts that will change the game plan to match the situation. All that would be fine with me.

Does keeping this coach, going back to 1-11 seasons (he already has one of his own) until he can develop his system that has been in place for 5 seasons sounds appealing?

No one wants to fire him because he isn't taking us to a BCS bowl. We want to fire him because this program stopped making progress on December 24, 2009 and has since taken several steps backwards

I thought we'd be lucky just to make it to a CUSA title game, and first bowl in 4 or 5 years.
June must be one of those delusional people because he was the one blabbing about being one and a half recruiting classes away from being in the BCS. Guess those 1-AA recruits he's so fond of didn't quite pan out like he planned.
