I don't think there would be a meltdown here. We've all come to grips with the fact that we're probably not winning CUSA, let alone the West division. Whoever wins it now doesn't matter to about 95% of the people on this board. Houston/SMU isn't a heated rivalry.

You might convince the rest of your fellow GED Houston fans, y'all will win the championship, but here we are too educated to put up with it. Go back to the Houston board where everyone has the same level of IQ, below 100.

Lol, I like how you all try to redirect everything back to academics. Everybody knows that academics is the lowest form of smack talk. It's the equivalent of saying "I know you are but what am I". Come on, you can do a lot better than that.
I guess you missed the part where I said how sorry your team is. And how your defense blows. But I then again it does come back to academics, like reading comprehension.

Texas State is an FBS team you moron. We fired the OC immediately after the game, but of course you guys wouldn't know anything about firing coaches when they underperform.

Then why is Levine still at UH?

Then why haven't you fired your head coach and defensive coordinator, you moron?

Because it would be idiotic to fire a HC after one game. He told the OC to hand the ball off to Sims since Texas State couldn't stop him. The OC refused and insisted on passing the ball and not letting Piland audible. (All of the scoring drives were due to Piland ignoring the OC and calling his own plays). When you have the best running back in C-USA in your backfield and don't run the ball, then you deserve to be fired. Levine is still on thin ice, but we're going to see how he does for the rest of the season.

Cougar King,

You are literally the only UH fan who still carries the delusion that you may win the division. And the only reason why you think this is because you were brought up as a UNT fan, so seeing that sort of bad football, you see a team that is incrementally better like UH and think that they are national champion caliber.

I wasn't brought up as a UNT fan but that is a whole different animal. I'm not saying that we will win the division, I'm just saying it is still possible. Plus you're one to talk about bad football considering you're a Smoo fan.

Ah, I guess then that you transferred from UNT to UH? Good judgment on your part. It is still possible but it's a very remote possibility (much the same as SMU winning the division is a very remote possibility).

And of course I can talk about bad football. I've seen some of the worst football in FBS so I know exactly what it looks like. The difference between me and many on here is that I've also seen what really good football looks like and so I know that we haven't been at that point during the June Jones error.

Right - he doesn't run the ball; that's why he is second only to dickerson in rushing........

I do think UH has a chance at Tulsa, and that Tulsa has a chance of losing two straight coming into the game with us, which would make the game essentially meaningless to them.

That said, if Sims is out this weekend, Houston is in trouble.

How's about this for some balls on chin? None of your arguments have shown that cougar high(you get no capitals) is any way better so shut the [Houston] up and get off this board.
