agreed, finishing around the rim should get better. i would say 6-8 points at least should have gone down.

#3 of LMU was beasting it up too. Glad to see SMU frustrate him towards the end and settle for bad 3s and a few bad fouls. Great great great game. SMU just looked like the better team out there. Less turnovers and more hustle.

I think i saw a bit of attitude from their #3,after the time out with seconds left...he did not want to continue play and the exchange with his coach showed he was not happy with the time out...he refused to move the ball in the last few seconds while the coach was yelling at him to attack ....but maybe i saw it wrong..

Non-conference schedule...

Postby Maryland78 » Mon Nov 12, 2012 4:14 pm

Actually, I think that the non-conference schedule is much tougher than usual...Utah (twice), Wagner (25-6), Loyola Marymount (21-13; beat UCLA, St. Mary's), Rhode Island, Santa Clara, Wyoming, Hofstra, South Carolina/Missouri St., TCU. I'm hoping we can manage 8 or 9 wins and then split conference this year. Our depth is really, really weak (six man team in reality)...praying for no injuries. I think next year will be a 20 win, tournament team.

That Loyola Marymount team was very good. That was an excellent win, IMHO.

Next year we'll be in the Big East for conference. That means Georgetown, Marquette, Temple, Villanova, UConn, Louisville, ND (for one year), Cincy, Memphis, and DePaul. In all honesty, if we go .500 in that conference we ought to put up a shrine to LB immediately.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
