Re: Philly paper story: Lost and found: Larry Brown has newLove the lead-in:
"UNIVERSITY PARK, Texas - Once again, Larry Brown is happy. You can see it in his step, hear it in his voice as he speaks to a crowd of high school coaches attending his first clinic in his new role as basketball coach of Southern Methodist University" ...... Pony Up
Re: Philly paper story: Lost and found: Larry Brown has newlove several things about that article -
1) it was in Philly - where we hopefully all be spending some time soon. 2) mangaed to get in a mention of our rising academic standing - to an area that needs to know that 3) he openly talks about competing for a national championship. Contrast that with our apparent football goals of doing just enough to get to Hawaii every year.....
Re: Philly paper story: Lost and found: Larry Brown has new"I want to compete for a national championship"

Re: Philly paper story: Lost and found: Larry Brown has newGreat find. Absolutely love the national championship talk.
Really is amazing how different this program feels compared to the other one right now. Can't wait to see it all play out. Unbelievably lucky to have this entire coaching staff and especially Larry Brown here at the Hilltop. ![]()

Totally agree. LB and SMU admin showing we can do this (LOVE seeing the picture of our bench with all the assistants including Eric Snow and George Lynch). I was always scared of losing JJ because I didn't think we could get a good replacement, but bball gives me confidence we can make a bold hire in fball as well (should actually be easier due to our tradition etc). Kingsbury!
