Throw in BYU to the Big East (hopefully) and the NBE has the top 4 non BCS classes this year.

Good God, I love Larry Brown. I can't remember ever being this excited about the basketball program. It gave me chills to hear coach Brown tell norm "I love being at SMU".

Will look for a link.

What I loved is him saying we are relevant now and promising will be relevant In the Big East and Nationally. He was very definitive in that, which is awesome. Norm commented that LB doesn't make idle promises. Awesome interview.

It will be on itunes podcast or theunticket sometime tomorrow most likely. The ticket does a good job of posting most of their segments.

Loved it that Norm and crew were ready to jump beind SMU and support major college basketball in Dallas.

It really was. Norm usually likes to get nostalgic when talking with another old schooler but a majority of the interview was about SMU and what is going on with the program. As Treadway pointed out, LB made it clear that he is bringing in the type of talent to be competitive nationally beginning next season. From every interview I've heard/read he is looking for two things in a recruit - athletic and coachable. He says he'll take care of the rest. So, if you like teams that are athletic, get up and down the court, and like to play D, he is building your kind of team. Should be fun.

Great take on the interview. It really was one of the best with LB. Norm hit a little of everything. And it was all positive.

That's how Norm ended the interview, and I've heard Ben and Skin mention that it is going to be really cool to have major college basketball in our own backyard.
