I'm agreeing with you Stallion!!! (I can't believe this) The players are in the surrounding villas...Allen, Rockwall, Frisco, etc. DISD does have some good recruits. But, not what you would expect. Like my friend Stallion said - not like in the days of old.

Which is why someone needs to office out of smu in plano/legacy and own Collin county.

By comparison to stallions point about quality eligible d1 prospects from disd, how many each year are there from the combination of allen/pesh/plano sr/west /the mckinneys and Frisco?

Got news for you. All those kids that were talented athletes 20 years ago in DISD. They now live in Duncanville, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Lancaster. They now have kids that attend those schools. That's where SMU needs to park one of their recruiters.

I like the SMU north office idea. However, we can't forget the towns south and east. Tons of pro athletes came from the Corsicana's and Tylers of North Texas. As for numbers from DISD compared to areas north, look on signing day. Look where the players are from signing with Texas, T A$m, TT, etc. They are NOT from DISD. They are from allen/pesh/plano sr/west /the mckinneys and Frisco. They are from Duncanville, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Lancaster...and Waxahachie and Mesquite...basically everywhere but DISD.

Our presence in Plano and Allen is almost non existent.
