One of the original SWC teams. Long history with them going back through a bunch of conferences. Respect them way more then Houston. Wish more of their own fans cared about their sports teams.
We have to leave to save ourselves, but it is kind of sad to say goodbye to Rice, regardless of how the game turns out today.
They are an example of where we could be heading if we don't maintain our programs and stay very aggressive.

Grabbing DFW speedsters eases the pain though.
You guys can have Rice. They don't even care about you guys, yet they won't leave us alone. They're like that chick we banged and now won't stop calling. I'd actually care about our rivalry if they stop sucking and people in Houston/Rice Students actually supported them.
