As I am digusted and pizzed off about Rice, man - what a difference LB can do. Nice win!!

Jalen with 24 points? He was so handcuffed last year. Glad to see the reigns have been lifted. Russell is a nice clutch player, will be great to see him in conference play.

my only grudge here is ...Time for Larry to stop talking about "We haven't prepared our team for this and that...." -- coach all facets of the game. I am sure it will get better and better but with 17 suits, let's get it together.

Definitely. I'm sure it will bite us at some point this season but so far it sure is fun enjoying the ride!

Me too but at least Coach Brown is not saying we are a class and a half away. LOL.

Yeah. But you know what that class and a half thing means to me is that he is saying that the team is 35-40 quality players short of what the program needs to be a top team AND it will stay that way because it is something that he can't close. So it is always a chase.
It reminds me of a mixed sex track 5000 I ran one time where I wanted to win and beat everyone in the race BUT I finished 2nd behind a guy who I got 15 metres behind halfway through the race and I couldn't close it and lost by 15 metres. So it was something that I couldn't close.
That's how I take it. Like it's a trick of words.
Deception.

Yoirr missing the point. Coach brown doesn't use smoke and mirrors - he works hard to improve things. June busts out the projector and bullshits his way through all his failures, but does nothing to fix his problems.

LB and staff do work hard. Coach Brown said that we should be Big East competitive next year.

Doc Hayes must be smiling to see SMU with a good coach once again.
