Next two games

Not to look too far ahead, but these next two games don't feel as challenging. Getting off to a 5-0 start would definitely turn some heads - both nationally but also with some key recruits.

Also will be important since football team is fading to badly.

I hope our team doesn't take your same attitude as that is the very attitude that led the football team to losses against Tulane and Rice. I am very happy with our start so far, but if you think this team can assume any wins you are kidding yourself. We have some talented players, but have what amounts to a 6 man rotation and they are not far superior to our competition, simply better. If they don't bring it on a given night we might not have the stamina to mount a comeback against one of these teams.

Yeah since we've squeaked by with the last two games I don't think it's time to start thinking we're eleet, Gotta come prepared. Thankfully I think LB will do a great job of exactly that- getting the team prepared. ...Being 5-0 would be awesome though.

i dont think my post assumed anything - just pointed out these next two games don't look as challenging. Obviously if we don't show up to play we will pick up a loss where we shouldn't have one.

Never look beyond the team right in front of you. Hurbis is not a characteristic this team can afford.

However, if we do finish those out, it would be nice to have a 5-0 record.

just because you may not have heard of Rider, don't assume that game won't be a challenge. They've got a lot of Philly kids on that roster and a couple of guards that can light you up. Let's see how they fare against South Carolina on Monday. That will give us an indication of what's coming to Moody this week

Hopefully these type of games will allow the young guys to play some more in key situations...release the beast in Brian Bernardi and get him rolling. He is a pure shooter and would love to see him just light it up. Uke don't know about yet....he deserves to get some time also. I know Dickerson is a project but he is better than advertised, and am somewhat enthused of his upside.

Well, at least we know that LBs bench management makes more sense than Dohs.

Everytime I hear LB interviewed he mentions our lack of depth. It's something he's thinking about and I'm sure is planning for moving forward

Interesting that he said June is sending him a couple of guys. Any ideas which ones? Will they just be bodies or can they provide some real help?

I think Marcus Holyfield played hoops in H.S. but our problem really isn't depth at the guard position. We need another big or two after Blaise went down
