Hoping this adds a few more butts in seats, but with an 11 am kickoff and an expected temperature of 40 degrees or so I don't know how many kids we can really expect out there.

Good idea though, hopefully they can keep it up for next year too.

not relevant this week, but has there ever been a real formal effort or PR drive to get all of the students in the stands at one time for a certain game early in the year? Like all 5000 undergrads. We did the sellout drive for Sam Houston or somebody a year ago, but it didn't focus on the students. Maybe if once per year you could get em all to show up and stay, they may see having a critical mass makes it more fun to be there. We have to improve the game atmosphere in a hurry and the only way is from the inside out, not marketing from the outside in.

Of course they'd pick the worst possible game to do this for. +50 tops and they'll all be gone at halftime.
