I live in Georgia, so the whole Johnny Football thing is a bit of a novelty to me. Did he get much hype coming out of high school? I love the way he plays the game.

No big time offers to play qb outside of Oregon until A&M offered him late at which point he changed his commitment from Oregon to A&M. He's a prototypical Oregon qb. Too small at 6'0" for most big programs to want him at qb plus the "dual threat" tag probably hurt him as well. Incredibly productive in high school.
