And we have reinforcements on the way next year. Not that I am writing off this year, but we have no room for anyone to have an off night and still win.

I just love Larry Brown more every time I hear one of his interviews. What a treasure...

Good luck tomorrow, Ponies!

When superior coaching has everyone playing at near their theoretical max relative to talent, experience, etc having something out of whack can really drop off the performance.

Manual and Jalen were out of gas tonight. It will be interesting to see if folks can pick things up tomorrow or not. LB may have to empty the bench just to give kids a rest.

Yea, I was watching the subs on UALR's side, compared to little to none on ours. The guys were gassed, and it didn't help that Dickerson (I think it was him) fouled out leaving even less in the rotation.

Expecting better is fine and well. But at some point, reality has to kick in.

I will say this, the starters are going to be FIT as hell when the season's over. Next year will be very interesting.

I think 'expecting' anything from this years team is a mistake. We have no depth and really no offense. Scoring points and winning is going to be near impossible unless Jalen/Manuel/Russell give us close to 60 per. One of them plays poorly, gets in foul trouble, and its over.

Ready for Missouri St. That's a helluva game for us. The kind I've wanted us to schedule for years in the OOC

Why would you expect that?...limited depth with no rest will make it much tougher...legs will get very heavy tomorrow down there in Mexico. I wouldn't expect better.....just a learning experience. Take the licks and come back to play Wednesday.

Because Manuel and Jalen didnt do sh!it tonight, thats why

Oh they will shoot better today because they can't do worse than last night but having been a basketball player I know what happens in these tournaments when you don't have a good bench. The legs won't be quite as lively today and its hard to get under your shots with tired legs....bounding is tougher, etc. They will run out of gas in the second half methinks...good luck to them though.
