The Hawaii Bowl carrot goes away after this season, not really sure how June will motivate the players without it.

Hopefully we can negotiate a clause that if SMU goes undefeated we play against a power conference team in Hawaii.

Hawaii Bowl is C-USA v MWC, remember that Hawaii just needs to get bowl eligible and one bid is theirs automatically. Bowls only make special deals with schools that travel well (see Notre Dame, BYU, Navy, etc). There's a reason power conferences don't want anything to do with the Hawaii Bowl (remote location, low payout, decrepit stadium, terrible date).

You guys are way overrating the big east teams. Look what WVU has done in the big12.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Some truth to that-real question may be whether there will be any Big East teams left by the time we get there. Could very well be an All-Star non-BCS league-we will still struggle with these teams though

Big 12 is little overrated, a MWC team that happens to be purple toppled their premier team at home.

Texas isn't even top 3 this year. One gift call vs OSU.

Oh I know but a MWC team is right in the middle of the Big12 I say that's pretty decent season for them.
