In summary, privates (with a few exceptions, e.g. ND, USC, Stanford, BC, Duke, NW, Vanderbilt, etc.) are working at a huge disadvantage.

so true. Loved how UTs prez was in front of the Supreme Court several weeks ago defending affirmative action quotas, meanwhile his AD is out trying to monopolize college athletics.

Yes, the deck is stacked in favor of the land grant universities, while being tax payer supported, at the expense of private schools and those who emphasize academics for the most part.
