Hofstra - Odds I can Go??

Postby Digetydog » Wed Nov 28, 2012 10:12 pm

Tomorrow morning, I am flying to San Fran for a mediation on Friday. Friday night - I am taking the redeye back to CT so I can get home by noon to see my wife and 2 year old. Having left her alone with my little one for 2 days (my wife has a hard job),

What are the odds that I can talk her into letting me go to Long Island to see the Ponies play Hofstra?

The good news is that I will be able to go to the URI game the following weekend.

Stay home with your family. That's a whole lot more important.

Give it a shot. This team is fun to watch. They play extremely hard the full time.

If you go to the game, I guarantee you will see great coaching.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Larry Brown returns to Long Island as SMU coach

Larry Brown's long and winding career in basketball started in Long Beach. He lived above the family's bakery, where the smell of fresh rye bread crept up the stairs and filled the rooms. Across the street was a schoolyard, where in his 12th year Brown discovered elevated cylinders used for depositing a round ball. It became his passion.

ah, when my son was 2 he was wearing a red Jeryl Sasser jersey draped all over him around the house. Now he is a sophomore on his high school team. It goes fast, real fast. i feel like Sasser was just here in some ways, maybe because SMU basketball has been completely asleep since then.

I picture five Wayne Chrebet lookalikes on the court. If that is the case SMU will win.

By the way, George Mason beat URI last night. Hofstra is in the CAA with Mason. They should be a tough opponent. It looks like Brown is working on the building blocks for a solid RPI at the end of the year. Playing teams from Big XII, PAC 12, CAA, Atlantic 10, MVC, all build up the RPI formula. At the end of the year, if we can hold serve in conference and at least get into the top 4 in CUSA will give us a decent RPI when the post season planners look at teams.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
