Moody Renovations

Postby Treadway21 » Thu Nov 29, 2012 10:14 am

Got a flyer at the game last night for the renovation web site.

newmoody.com

Just a ticker now, but it is cool they put together a web site for renovation news. The site goes live in Jan.

Now if we can advertise this team, we'd be good.

I got one too. Did you notice it said the renovations to be completed 01.10.13? Shouldn't that be 01.10.14?

I think that means when the web site will have content. I am assuming pictures and mock ups ect.

Oh, okay. That makes more sense. I love Moody. I'm all for upgrades I just hope they don't lose the old school charm of the building.

I think the January 2014 is about right for completion as it was advertised to be ready for the start of the conference play next season.

Just curious? Since Moody will be closed for the 1st couple of months of basketball season next year, where will the Ponies play their OOC home games? Is SMU in talks with the AAC? Or will it be a combination AAC/DISD-Ellis Davis Fieldhouse? I don't want to see SMU play all of their OOC games on the road.

I've heard there will be a tour of Dallas. I think LB mentioned that. Not sure what that means though. AAC would be kind of awkward with 3500 fans.

The discussions are far from inked but this is being discussed.

Graduated in there. It's a pretty small all-in-one convention center.
