Does anyone want to buy some Tulsa gear...

Post by Kynd Tulsa Phan »

I think Im pretty close to pulling a Mestango and switching sides completely. I cant stomach the Sun Belt. Im blown away at the lack of institutional control at Tulsa right now. Its just downright depressing.

Last nights hoops game was a real eye opener. Its just amazing whats going on at the Hilltop right now. Night and Day from the Dement, Tubbs and D'oh. Ive seen a lot of games @ Moody and Ive never seen anything like that.

Got season tickets this morning. Its just so weird after all these years of walking up to Moody buying a baseline ticket and sitting on the front row of section E or F that the best I can get is Section F row 10 and have to get put on a list to get courtside seats for 2013-2014.

we was there last night.

I think the only thing he got mad about was June's halftime speech.

Unfortunately I'm finishing my undergrad at a D 3 school as well and have to deal with people frowning at me due to my lack of interest in crusader sports! I was a mustang fan though before i ever attended high school so that still makes me a loyal fan right?

People pay attention to sports at your D-3 school? As a grad student at a D-3 school (a large university by D-3 standards), I can say that no one pays attention to sports at my institution

KTF, you used the phrase "lack of institutional control" in your first post. Interesting choice of words. Can you expand on what you mean by that?

KTP,

Feel for you. Tulsa had a really bad week. As bad as we think we have it, at least we have a president, AD, LB, and at least an outside shot at a place at the table. It is hard to navigate unchartered waters with no captain. I feel for the Tulsa fans. Y'all deserve better.

And FYI. I bought my season tickets this morning as well. #Moody Madness.

Ok, I'm starting to think I missed some recent news about Tulsa. I'll do some homework.
